Remote App Intro
You can use a second device running the app as a remote control for managing the score / stream. This is useful when the streaming device is positioned somewhere out of reach, when you want a second operator to manage the stream, or when you want quicker access to operations during the stream.
Starting Remote Control
To initiate remote control mode, tap the "Remote Control Mode" button on the Collections settings tab, and enter the PIN showing on the main app's "Remote Control Mode" button. Once you load the desired scene collection on the main app, the remote control should load on the remote app.
Devices that are within close physical distance of each other should automatically connect when using the remote control mode. For best results, the devices should be on the same wifi network. We recommend connecting the remote device to tha main device's wifi hotspot - having the devices connected this way will offer greater range. If the devices are not connected by wifi, the physical range for communication between the remote and main apps is about ten feet.
In order to connect the remote control to the main app, both devices must have the same PIN set. If you are using different PINs on the main and remote app, they will not connect.
